NHRIs join forces to speak on women’s rights

National human rights institutions from around the globe will advocate for a right to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, following an APF proposal adopted at last week’s International Conference on National Institutions.

Philippines Commission to study proposal to delay implementation of torture convention

The Philippines Commission on Human Rights has expressed concern at a Government proposal to defer implementing the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture by three to five years.
