AUGUST 2009 Dear %%first_name%%, Welcome to the August 2009 edition of the IWC eBulletin.
From the CEO
The International WaterCentre congratulates its first cohort of Master of Integrated Water Management students, who graduated on 22 July. After saying goodbye to life-long friends made on the course, the graduates are heading back to their homes in France, China, Canada, Vietnam, Pakistan, French Caribbean and Australia for exciting new career directions in integrated water management. The last 18 months we have spent with our students has been a very rewarding time for us all. The hands-on nature of the program attracts people from a wide mix of professional and cultural backgrounds, and much learning occurs between students, as well as from the course because of this. With 25% of IWC graduates already offered positions, I would like to wish them all the best, and we all look forward to hearing from them over the coming years as they use their new learning to make a real difference in the world.
